The Course
The course provides a comprehensive introduction to several human systems,
teaching students the interconnection among
these functions and how to use both basic laboratory sciences and bedside medicine
to determine patient diagnosis and treatment.
Students use the case study approach to illustrate each topic, integrating the online curriculum with classroom lectures and
web-based research. Since proficiency with online
communication and research is very important, Oceania’s eLibrarian provides assignments early in the program to
evaluate and refine each student’s computer-based research skills.
